Ubuntu 7.04 - codec輕鬆裝 rmvb快樂看

話說… 雖然網路上一大堆人都說 Ubuntu 7.04 一裝好後，下個指令就能安裝 rmvb 的 codec ，然後跟 rm 過著幸福快樂的日子，但是我怎麼升級上來後卻不行，人家說要裝 w32codecs ，可是我在 aptitude 裏就是找不到，裝了 totme-xine 也是不行~
gstreamer 0.10 從 base 到 good, bad, ulgy 我也通通裝了呀~

我繼續拜 Google 大神，一直獻上供品，祂也一直沒給我正確的解答… 真到我供上了「 ubuntu 7.04 w32codecs source.list 」總算找到我要的答案…

想跟我一樣享有同樣幸福日子的朋友，我就簡略翻譯一下重點…
所謂強者 Debian Like之流的最強武器，就是 apt ，即然開頭就講要輕鬆裝，當然就是從 /etc/apt/source.list 下手，依我找來的文件，請先備份您原有的 source.list

sudo cp -p /etc/apt/sources.list /etc/apt/sources.list_backup
sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

再來換上最in的source

裝一下 key
wget -q http://medibuntu.sos-sts.com/repo/medibuntu-key.gpg -O- | sudo apt-key add -
sudo apt-get update

然後去泡杯咖啡吧… 這要花一些時間去更新一些檔案…
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
sudo apt-get dselect-upgrade

待更新完後，就要開始衝了啊~
首先下載我要的 codec
sudo apt-get install gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg gstreamer0.10-gl \
gstreamer0.10-plugins-base gstreamer0.10-plugins-good \
gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad-multiverse \
gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly-multiverse \
libxine-extracodecs w32codecs ffmpeg lame

安裝播放程式
sudo apt-get install mplayer

然後開啟 Application - Sound & Video - MPlayer Movie Player ，載入我要看的 rmvb ，就成功啦~ (有一點要小心的是… 開啟檔案時，要選 show all files，不然它只會秀出 .rm 而不會秀出 .rmvb；至於要怎麼修改這種情況…我知道再寫上來吧)

跟我有相同困擾的朋友，快去裝吧~
另外 還有許其也的東西可以安裝 像是 Skype, Google Earth , P2P BitTorrent Client => Azureus, Bittornado, Amule, 播放 DVD 的 totem-xine ，JDK

Beryl 就不用多講了~ 7.04 就已內含，原文裏也有 Beryl + AIGLX 與 Beryl + nVidia (也有SVN版哦)，還有許多好用的程式安裝說明，記得連過去看看哦~

Ubuntu 真是 Desktop 系統的首選~
